Jelly Pedicure SPA Foot Soak Strawberry

I was skeptical about this product at first, but it won me over. The strawberry scent is just strong enough to be soothing, not over powering. The first step creates a gel bath the holds in the heat of the water- I was able to soak my feet for thirty minutes without noticeable cooling. The gel was silky smooth and my skin was nice and soft afterwards.I am a barefoot baby so have super tough feet that resist softening. The cracking at my heel edges softened up. The second step re-liquifies the gel, allowing feet to come out clean and the bath can be safely poured down the drain.

I wasn't sure how to get this going at first with the instructions feeling a little vague, but I followed them and found the first part a little weird but wiggling my feet in the warm squishy thick foot bath was so soothing! I dislike florals but this fruity scented mixture was so nice! I used my food scale to measure out the 4.5 K of warm water since I'm used to ounces and cups. The weirder part was applying the 2nd part, the salts, into the squishly mixture and it worked to make the gel like mixture to more watery. There were some small clumps and I used paper towels to wipe off my feet. I didn't want to dump this into my septic system, so it ended up in a part of the yard that was a bit too weedy. I didn't notice any skin reactions and loved the calming feel afterwards. Really enjoyed this foot soak.

A decent sensory activity!This is a fun experiment-like pedicure spa activity, and I want to stress - do NOT do this in a tub. Use a separate foot soaking basin or bucket and make sure to use the solvent prior to disposing of the liquid or draining the basin.Realistically, this is more a gimmick than anything else, and in terms of water warmth of it compared to without it keeps the soak about as warm as a decent layer of soap bubbles would like in a bubble bath.Also - you cannot use it for an actual pedicure in say a spa, it’s for at home use. The scent is nice, but not strong. For sensory experiences it’s nice but I think an epsom salt soak is better.

This is a reasonable price for 3 nice quality foot soak sets. The foot soak was very easy and quick to set up in my foot soak tub. The foot soak was a thick slushy consistency which had a lovely fruity fragrance. I soaked my feet for 25 minutes, and it was very relaxing. I was hiking a lot last weekend, and my feet were sore. The soak was effective, and my feet smelled good and were softer after the soak. I was, however, hesitant to try to change the consistency of the slushy soak with the second packet and put the mixture down my sink when I was finished so I disposed of the slushy mix in a garbage bag without using the second packet.

This was the weirdest, but best foot spa experience ever! The foot soak consists of two parts. The first part is a packet that thickens in water and becomes a soothing jelly bath. The instructions list the water measurement in kilograms. I just guessed at the amount of water in a dishpan needed to cover my feet. Then, I dumped in the first packet and moved it around with my feet to disperse the powder and mix it fully. The jelly maintained the heat of the water better than just water. It was a very soothing experience to have my feet cuddled in warm, strawberry scented luxury. The jelly softened and moisturized my feet. Once I had soaked my feet for at least 20 minutes and the jelly was starting to cool down, then I added the second packet. This packet magically turned the jelly back into liquid. I was doing my foot soak in the living room, so I had to have a partner help me when I was finished. I had my partner bring warm water to pour over my feet to rinse off the clumps, and then I dried my feet. My feet felt wonderful! This was a truly relaxing experience! I was nervous about dumping the jelly water down the drain, so I did have my partner dump it outdoors instead. The strawberry fragrance was perfect and the jelly was extremely soothing.

I would say the actual quality of the product here is very good and I liked the feel and smell of the jelly (I got the lavender one). Exactly as promised, it firmed up and expanded when added to hot water, and retained that heat very well. I would definitely recommend making sure the water is the temperature you want it at before adding the powder that makes the jelly because it doesn't cool off very quickly and if it's too hot to start with you'll have a hard time sticking your feet in it. I would also recommend a LARGE towel to wipe your feet off after because they will be covered in more jelly than a hand towel can handle really, assuming you're not right next to a tub you could rinse off in without walking. The spa set doesn't include the actual foot bath tray either, so make sure you already have one, or something you could use as one, before starting.The reason for the 4 star rating is because the instructions are very poor and confusing. It says to use 4-5kg of water? How am I supposed to know how much that is? Is that even the correct number? The instructions are hard to read and confusing, so I was a bit nervous about what turned out to be a very straightforward process. For example, the final step says to add the salt, mix with your feet, and let them soak another 5 or so minutes. What it DIDN'T say was that adding the salt melts the jelly to an extent to a point where it could probably be poured down a drain (I hope, since that's what I did). It also didn't say how to dispose of the jelly when you were done. Overall I do like this product, I just wish the instructions were better.

I must admit that this was so different that I was initially confused on how to use this which was my bad. The instructions were pretty clear and the process pretty easy. This ended up being my favorite self-care for my feet I have ever done.The lavender is all so present and pleasant. It is not overwhelming and allowed me to relax while taking me time. I stayed in the Jelly (step 1) for around 30 minutes and it stayed warm. I almost didn’t want to go to step 2. Step 2 did a pretty good job of breaking down the jelly.Once completed, I was able to rub off some dead skin, apply a foot lotion and felt relaxed. The next day my feet were very soft and smooth.This is a great value for 3 home spas for around $17.00. I will defiantly purchase again and consider giving these in the gift baskets I make for friends and family. Since the strawberry would not appeal to me and knowing the lavender is true to scent, I hope they come up with other flavors.
